Despite the nursery rhymes of the black sheep, sheep are not bred just for wool. In fact, their milk is used in some of the world's most well known cheeses. Cheesemonger Bianka Michalski will guide you through a tasting of five different styles of cheeses from different regions of Europe and the United States to learn more about the cultural and geographical significance of sheep's milk cheese, as well as learning its wonderful tasting notes.
AND for a very special treat, we have invited Remy Samuels of Plant Wines to pour 5 natural wines that pair incredibly with our cheese selections. Remy will enlighten us on what makes a wine natural, from farming and viticultural practices to aging and bottling.
